About us

Instill hope to the community

HOPE GENERATES HEALING ORGANISATION (Abbreviated as HGHO) is a non-governmental organization, based in Kenya dedicated to creating mental health awareness and providing support services to address the rising suicide rates. HGHO relies on the expertise of professionals in mental health and non-mental health fields to work towards creating a supportive environment for people at risk of committing suicide.

VISION

To identify priorities and prevention strategies for reducing suicidal behavior in Kenya and create mental health awareness programs to promote mental wellness.

MISSION

To bring hope to the vulnerable community by equipping them with knowledge and incorporating them into programs that will enhance their wellbeing to deter them from making drastic choices and taking their own lives.

PURPOSE

H.G.H.O will strive to ensure that people with cases of suicidal tendencies, mental health illness, their families, and caregivers, employers and health services have access to the support, programs and resources they need to participate fully in their own lives in accordance to the constitution of Kenya and other arms of the government.
